That moment when you realize that someone is going to succeed

Today I had a weight loss session with a client. It was amazing for so many reasons, but what stood out for me was, her commitment to action. She didn’t even want short cuts, she was open to growing and developing through the journey. It’s easy to desire something, but sadly not a lot of people get past this stage. Then some do get past this stage and then they put in some action and sabotage themselves and they are right back where they started. But this lady was so dedicated to her goal. She had it saved on her phone, she got her kids involved thereby helping her create an environment to support the type of change she wants, she got active in doing the necessary work. Talking with her, I knew that she was going to see the results that she wanted, and that is because she did something that lots of people don’t do, take 100% responsibility for your life and get active in taking actions to make yourself better and achieve your goals.

Becoming successful in life, business, health is more than passion or desire, or even having a goal (but these are very important). It is:

  • being able to know what you want
  • Drawing a detailed map to help you get there
  • Following it through
  • Believing beyond all reasonable doubt that you cannot fail
  • Review your plan periodically and get help along the way

With this, you will not fail.
